Kindergarten through 3rd grade

The education system expects students to achieve reading proficiency by 3rd grade. The common wisdom states: "Learn to Read by 3rd grade, then Read to Learn." The Magic of Reading should happen by 3rd grade, however, many children learn to read even before entering kindergarten.
